Two QZ-17 Wheel Type Air Rock Loaders Shipped to South America

On 8 October 2026, HNYT loaded and dispatched two QZ-17 wheel type air rock loader units for a mining customer in South America. The machines are intended for underground rock loading where the customer needs compressed-air power and movement without fixed rails. Workshop and truck-loading photographs show the loaders before dispatch, followed by protective wrapping on the vehicle, documenting the preparation of this two-unit order for its overseas journey.

Equipment and Configuration

The order comprises two wheel-type pneumatic loaders. The QZ-17 uses compressed air for travel and bucket lifting, with rubber wheels for movement on suitable mine floors. The following published model specifications provide a reference for equipment selection.

ParameterQZ-17 standard reference
Bucket volume0.17 m³
Working air pressure0.44–0.67 MPa
Travel and lifting air motor power9 kW / 15 kW
Overall dimensions L × W × H2,250 × 1,490 × 1,500 mm
Machine weight3,200 kg
Minimum tunnel width × height1.7 × 2.0 m
Loading height / unloading height1,975 mm / 1,150 mm

Workshop Preparation and Truck Loading

Preparation began with the loaders in the workshop, where the lowered buckets, yellow lifting frames, rubber wheels and side-mounted pneumatic controls were visible. Protective material covered parts of the bucket assemblies, with bands holding the wrapping in place. This view records the machines before the final transport covering was applied.

The loaders were then placed on the red flatbed truck inside the factory. The loading photograph shows the side of the front machine clearly, including its wheels, air hoses and red control components, with the second loader positioned behind it. Timber pieces are visible beneath the wheel area, while the bucket assemblies remain covered.

In the later packing view, transparent film extends over the machine bodies and cardboard protects selected upper edges. A separate wooden crate stands alongside the loaders on the truck bed. These photographs document the progression from workshop preparation to loaded and covered equipment. The two QZ-17 units have now been dispatched for the South American customer’s underground mining operation.

Why This Configuration Fits the Mine

The customer’s underground conditions make the power source an important selection factor. Compressed-air drive allows the pneumatic shovel loader to work without a stable electrical connection at the loading position. A suitable compressed-air supply is still required, so pressure and available flow at the machine must be reviewed together with hose length and other air demand.

Wheel travel gives the air rock loader freedom to reposition without following a fixed railway. This suits working areas where a rail-bound machine would limit access, provided the floor and gradient are suitable. Before selecting the same configuration, buyers should compare the tunnel profile, bucket movement and unloading height with their receiving equipment and available working space.
