HNYT Ships ZQ-17 Air Loaders and 2.5 Ton Battery Mine Locomotives to South America

On October 26, 2026, HNYT dispatched two ZQ-17 air loaders, two sets of 2.5 ton battery mine locomotives and accessories for a customer in South America. The order brings together equipment for two connected underground tasks: loading broken rock and moving loaded mine cars along the railway. Workshop and container photographs document the equipment and packing at the factory shipment stage.

For mines using rail transport, loading and haulage need to be planned together. An air rock loader handles material at the working face, while a battery mine locomotive provides traction for mine cars. This shipment combines both equipment types in one order, giving buyers a practical example of sourcing loading and transport equipment together.

Equipment for loading and rail haulage

The ZQ-17 is a rail-mounted pneumatic shovel loader. It uses compressed air for travel and bucket lifting, with a bucket that loads material from the front and discharges toward receiving equipment behind the machine. The workshop photographs show its steel bucket, lifting linkage, rail wheels, air hoses and controls.

Published ZQ-17 model data include a 0.17 m³ bucket, a working air pressure of 0.45–0.7 MPa and a minimum tunnel reference of 1.7 m wide by 2.0 m high. These are model reference values; the rail gauge and final supplied configuration should be checked against the order documents. Full specifications are available on the ZQ-17 air rock loader product page.

The two 2.5 ton battery mine locomotive sets cover the traction side of the order. For a comparable installation, the locomotive and mine cars need to match the railway gauge, gradients, curve radius and required train load. Battery capacity and charging arrangements also need to suit the planned operating schedule.

From workshop preparation to container loading

The workshop views record the equipment before dispatch, including a battery mine locomotive with its battery enclosure and identification plates visible. Separate yellow enclosures and protective covering also appear in the preparation area. Accessories were included in the shipment alongside the loaders and locomotive sets.

The container photograph shows the cargo positioned inside the container with wooden cases and crossing securing straps. It provides a record of the packing arrangement for the outbound shipment to South America. The equipment has been dispatched; this update covers factory delivery preparation and container loading.

Planning a similar equipment order

For a similar loading and haulage arrangement, begin with tunnel clearance, track gauge, compressed-air availability and mine-car dimensions. The bucket movement and discharge height must suit the receiving car, while locomotive selection depends on the transport route and load. HNYT’s rock loader application guide explains the loading process, and an earlier ZQ-17 shipment to South America provides a separate delivery reference.
