
Two ZQ-17 Pneumatic Rock Loaders Shipped to South America
On September 16, 2026, HNYT loaded and dispatched two ZQ-17 pneumatic rock loader units for a mining customer in South America. The machines are intended for underground rock loading, where compact equipment and a compressed-air power source suit the customer’s site conditions. This pneumatic shovel loader does not require a stable electrical supply at the underground working position, making the choice relevant to the mine’s power supply conditions.

Equipment and Published Specifications
The shipment comprises two ZQ-17 units for underground service. This rail-mounted pneumatic shovel loader uses compressed air to drive its travel and lifting functions. The model has a 0.17 m³ bucket and a compact body measuring 2230 mm long, 1360 mm wide and 1390 mm high.

Workshop Preparation and Truck Loading
At the factory, the rock loaders stood in the workshop with their buckets, lifting frames and side-mounted pneumatic components visible. The wider workshop view includes several loaders; the South American customer’s order covered the two ZQ-17 units dispatched on September 16. The equipment was then loaded onto the truck for the outbound shipment.
During loading, the machines were positioned on the truck bed with their buckets facing toward the side of the vehicle. The side-view photograph records the rail wheels beneath the body and the air hoses and controls above them. At this stage, the machine’s side remained exposed, and some wrapping was already visible around the bucket area.

The outdoor dispatch views show clear plastic sheeting covering the loaders, with wooden packing pieces around the equipment and a separate wooden case on the truck. This records the condition of the shipment after covering and loading. HNYT completed the factory dispatch step for the two machines destined for the customer’s underground mine in South America.

Why Pneumatic Drive Suits This Underground Application
The customer selected pneumatic equipment to suit the underground power supply conditions. Using compressed air allows the loader to operate without a stable electrical connection at the working position. For a similar project, the air supply must still match the machine’s requirements; the published working-pressure range is 0.45–0.7 MPa.
Compact dimensions also matter in underground workings. The ZQ-17’s overall body size and its published minimum tunnel reference describe different checks: space occupied by the machine and space needed for its application. Buyers should review both, together with bucket movement and the receiving equipment. The published unloading height is 1260 mm.
The available 600, 762 and 900 mm rail gauges provide further options for matching the air rock loader to an existing mine railway. Gauge selection, tunnel clearance and compressed-air supply should be reviewed together when preparing a comparable order.
