3. Insufficient Contact Area Between the Cone Nut and Shaft

If this contact area is less than 80%, which can happen due to poor assembly practices, the cone nut may become loose. Once loosened, both the shaft and the cone nut will experience mutual wear, which can lead to further damage, including wear on the flywheel face.
