
QZ-17 Wheel-Type Pneumatic Rock Loader Shipped to Africa
HNYT has packed and dispatched a QZ-17 wheel-type pneumatic rock loader for an African mining customer. The yellow machine was positioned on a heavy wooden pallet, supported with timber blocking and prepared for international transportation after completing the factory’s pre-shipment work.
The shipment photographs record the unit during pallet packing, showing the front bucket and lifting frame, the rear body and tires, and the clearly labeled pneumatic control area. Together, these views provide a practical record of the machine’s condition before it began its journey to Africa.

Export Packing for Delivery to Africa
HNYT’s current standard reference data lists a total machine weight of approximately 3,200 kg. For a compact machine of this weight, the packing base and lifting arrangement must support the load while keeping the equipment stable during handling. For this Africa-bound shipment, the pallet extends beneath the full machine and timber members are placed around the wheels and chassis.
Overhead chains were used to control the machine’s position as the export packing work progressed. Accessible hoses and components were wrapped for protection, while the open pallet arrangement allowed the team to review the bucket, lifting frame, tires, pneumatic connections, visible fasteners and product identification before completing the transport protection for the international route.

A Compact Wheeled Loader for Underground Mucking
The QZ-17 is a compressed-air-powered, wheel-type rock loader intended for loading broken rock or ore in underground mining and tunneling work. Its bucket gathers loose material at the working face, while the lifting mechanism raises and transfers the load as part of the mucking cycle.
The standard model uses a 0.17 m3 bucket and is listed for tunnel sections of at least 1.7 x 2.0 m, with an operating slope below 5 degrees. Unlike a rail-mounted loader, the wheeled QZ-17 is not tied to a fixed track gauge. This can simplify movement within suitable working areas, although floor condition, turning space and safe clearances still need to be confirmed.
Separate pneumatic power is used for travel and bucket lifting. This layout supports a straightforward mechanical and control system for African mines that operate a suitable compressed-air network. The actual working cycle should be matched to the material size, face layout and receiving equipment used at the customer’s site.
Standard QZ-17 Reference Specifications
According to the current HNYT technical specification table, the standard QZ-17 measures 2,250 mm long, 1,490 mm wide and 1,500 mm high. The listed loading height is 1,975 mm and the unloading height is 1,150 mm. These values provide a starting point for checking tunnel clearance, working position and the interface with mine cars or other receiving equipment.
The same technical table lists a 9 kW walking air motor and a 15 kW lifting air motor, with a working-pressure range of 0.44-0.67 MPa. These are standard reference parameters.

Controls, Air Supply and Site Matching
The control-area close-up shows separate lever groups with direction labels for bucket movement and machine travel. Before operation, the controls, air hoses, connections and emergency procedures should be checked in accordance with the supplied manual, and operators should be trained for the specific underground workplace.
Air pressure available at the machine can be affected by compressor capacity, pipeline length, hose diameter, leakage and simultaneous demand from other pneumatic tools. The receiving team in Africa should therefore review tunnel width and height, gradient, floor strength, drainage, turning area, material condition and receiving height together before the loader is put into service.
